After shifting to Hyderabad, i stayed in a Guest House located in MLA colony, Banjara Hills. This colony is located at a slightly higher altitude and roads are serpentine.
This incident which i am sharing, happened when i was returning from office to the guest house. It was quite late at night. I took a shared auto. There were 2 co-passengers with me in the Auto. The Auto driver started his journey. He was driving as if he was in a formula 1 race. Zip-Zap-Zoop through the potholes. I thought, "ok, Must be drunk". Some how he managed to reach the destination. I got down from auto. One of the co-passenger also alighted.
When i went ahead to pay my fare, i was shocked. The Rikshaw driver was SLEEPING. I had to wake him Up.."OO Bhaeyaa...Uthooo Subbah ho gai....paisaa nahi lenaa kyaa..". Finally he managed to woke up. I paid the fare and left.
Just imagine, in what state of mind the third passenger was..He Hee... :)
