My Hyderabad Experience-Part 1

These are some of my experiences when i stayed in hyderabad.
Part 1: House Search...a funny experience
Since it would have been really difficult to stay in a Zopadi(Hut), i started out for some sort of shelter. My requirement was 1bhk house. Me and my friend Imtiaz were suppose to share the flat. Ok...
So we started a search. We thought "hmmm Hyderabad, would be quite cheap and finding a house here won't be much of an headache@(Considering that we had a pretty good experience in Bangalore ;)). "We all know how easy it is to find a house in Bangalore@. Anyway that was a sarcastic remark. Since my office was in Banjara Hills road No 1, i was looking for a house in nearby localities only.

First thing is you wont find a 1BHK house(quite difficult) and even if you find one, there is another problem. Typical House owner's statement "Sorry we can't give rooms to bachelors". Since i was not married and telling a lie that me and Imtiaz are married was out of question(Since both of us were and are straight :) ).As, we did not get a house near to Banjara Hills. We went to Mehdipatnam (Place 2km from Banjara Hills). This place has a lot of hostels (Girl's hoste to be precisel :)). So we said ok, this place is the best than the rest. We went to a big Bungalow which said "One floor available on rent". The maid was showing us the room, the house owner appeared like a phantom...swisshhhh. His looks were quite terrifying...Big Body and Big Dadi... I mean beard...the first questioned he asked was, "What’s your name". I said “Anand”, my friend said “Naveen”. He said with a cool voice "Hindu ko ghar nahi Dena". And then he started scolding his maid in Urdu. I said ok, “Is one Musalman Ok for you"(as my friend Imtiaz follows Isalm). He said no, I want every tenant to be Muslim. We had no options but to say Khuda Hafiz to him.
We felt bad, But what to do, for some people religion is more imporatant than valuing a human being..... So we continued our search. Finally we found a house in Masab Tank/Banjara Hills Rd 12. The owner was a True follower of Islam and was really Nice person. He used to stay in Mumbai and liked Maharashtrians a lot. So he gave us a 2 bhk flat for a nominal rate. In Hyderabad, one thing that is better than Bangalore, "You need to give just 2 months deposit as compared to 10 Months here in Bangalore".

Me and my friend Imtiaz had good time staying in Hyderabad.
Others experience follows in Part 2:
